Students exploring diverse careers

St George Girls High School has a qualified Career Adviser whose role is to provide a high-quality career education service to students and the school community. Career education aims to provide a nurturing and inspirational environment to support students in fostering their career and professional development. The Career Program consists of individual career counselling, classroom lessons, work experience, excursions, guest speakers, small group seminars and much more. Resources have been designed and sourced to assist students to transition to higher education and work, make appropriate subject choices, gain work experience, engage in career interest and skill assessment and develop skills such as CV writing, university, scholarship, cadetship or job application writing, interview skills, study skills, practice for entry tests and auditions and career exploration.
